Welcome Message

It gives me great pleasure to personally welcome you to the official website of my book - God, I want my Baby!

Someone once said, that there is a lesson to be learnt from every wait, and it’s in that lesson that we find the deeper riches, richer perhaps and sometimes than the very thing that we are longing for.

In 2005, four years after my husband and I got married and with no children, I started penning down my experiences and later started toying with the idea
of turning it into a book. I had struggles, questions and at other times, when I looked a little closer, I found a lesson, here and there but most of all, I found peace with God, through His word.

In 2008, after a failed IVF, and a desperate longing to hold my baby in my arms, we decided to adopt a baby. I was grateful and extremely honored to be the mother of this wonderful child and three months after, in the middle of mother duties and with very little ‘activity’ (smile), I got pregnant! God answered in the way I deeply believed He could and would – in His own time and in His own way!

Written right in the moments and not knowing how things were going to turn out when I started, the book is not just about my testimony, it’s about my journey.

I pray that as we journey through life, we may find Gods purpose for us all and that as difficult as the season might be, that we may find His Peace.
